美國籍《花木蘭》女主角劉亦菲，近期因在香港反送中運動中高調「挺港警」，加上片中飾演董將軍的香港演員甄子丹也在臉書力挺「港版國安法」、慶祝香港二次回歸等言論，使得本片遭到香港、台灣、泰國親民主人士群起抵制。
